GCS type low voltage withdrawable switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the device) is a low voltage withdrawable switchgear designed and developed by the joint design team of the two departments according to the requirements of the industry authorities, the majority of power users and design units. It is in line with national conditions, has high technical performance indicators, can adapt to the development needs of the power market and can compete with existing imported products. The device has been widely selected by power users.

The device is suitable for power distribution systems in power plants, petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, textile, high-rise buildings and other industries. In large power plants, petrochemical systems and other places with high automation and computer interface requirements, it is used as a low voltage complete set of power distribution devices for power distribution, motor centralized control and reactive power compensation in power generation and power supply systems with a three-phase AC frequency of 50 (60) Hz, a rated working voltage of 380V (400) V, (600) V, and a rated current of 4000A and below.

1 The ambient air temperature is not higher than +40°C and not lower than -5°C. The average temperature within 24 hours shall not be higher than +35°C. When exceeded, it is necessary to reduce the capacity according to the actual situation.
2 For indoor use, the altitude of the place of use shall not exceed 2000m.
3 The relative humidity of the surrounding air shall not exceed 50% when the maximum temperature is +40°C. A higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures: for example, 90% at +20°C. The influence of condensation that may occur occasionally due to temperature changes should be considered.
4 The device shall be installed with an inclination of no more than 5° from the vertical plane, and the entire cabinet row shall be relatively flat (in accordance with GBJ232-82 standard).
5 The device should be installed in a place without severe vibration and impact and where the electrical components are not subject to unnecessary corrosion.

1 The main frame of the device adopts 8MF steel, and the frame adopts two structural forms: assembly and partial welding. There are installation modulus holes E=20㎜ on the main frame.
2 The functional rooms of the device are strictly separated, and the compartments are mainly divided into functional unit room, busbar room, and cable room. The functions of each unit are relatively independent.

4 Functional units
a. The module of the drawer layer height is 160㎜ (see Figures 9-10). It is divided into five size series: 1/2 unit, 1 unit, 1.5 unit, 2 units, and 3 units. The rated current of the unit circuit is 400A and below.
b. The drawer changes only in the height dimension, and its width and depth dimensions remain unchanged. Drawers of the same functional unit have good interchangeability.
c. Each GCS cabinet can be installed with a maximum of 11 single-unit drawers or 22 1/2-unit drawers. Drawers with more than one unit use a multifunctional back panel (see Figure 18)
d. The inlet and outlet lines of the drawer use connectors with the same specification of chip structure with different numbers of chips according to the current size.
e. The transfer between the 1/2 unit drawer and the cable room uses a back plate structure ZJ-2 type adapter.
f. The transfer between the unit drawer and the cable room uses the same size rod or tube structure ZJ-1 type adapter according to the current grade. The appearance of the adapter is shown in Figure 6.
g. The drawer panel has obvious signs of open, close, test, and withdrawal positions
h. The drawer unit is equipped with a mechanical interlocking device.
5 The feeder cabinet and the motor control cabinet are equipped with a dedicated cable compartment. The connection between the functional unit room and the cable room is achieved through an adapter or a copper busbar, which not only improves the reliability of the cable, but also greatly facilitates the installation and maintenance of the cable by the user.
The cable compartment has two width sizes (240㎜ and 440㎜) for selection, depending on the number of cables, cross-sections and user requirements for installation and maintenance.
6 The number of auxiliary contact pairs of the functional unit of the device is 32 pairs for one unit and above, and 20 pairs for 1/2 units, which can meet the needs of automation users and computer interfaces.
7 Considering the common safety of dry-type transformers and the economy of oil-immersed transformers, the device can be conveniently formed into a group with dry-type transformers, and can also be conveniently connected to the low-voltage busbar of oil-immersed transformers.
8 With drawers as the main body, it has both pull-out and fixed types, which can be mixed and combined for arbitrary selection.
9 The device is designed for three-phase five-wire and three-phase four-wire systems. The design department and users can easily choose PE+N or PEN.
10 The protection level of the cabinet is IP30 and IP40, which can be selected according to user needs
