Box-type transformers have many models, and the parameters of different models are also different. The following is an introduction to some common box-type transformer models and their parameters:

Common models and parameters

SCB10 series

Model examples: SCB10-100/10/0.4, SCB10-160/10/0.4, SCB10-200/10/0.4, etc., all the way to SCB10-2000/10/0.4.

Rated capacity: 100kVA to 2000kVA.

Rated voltage: High voltage side is usually 10kV, low voltage side is 0.4kV.

Short-circuit impedance: generally 4%-6%.

Rated frequency: 50Hz.

Wiring group: Yyn0 or Dyn11.

Insulation level: High-voltage side power frequency withstand voltage 42kV, lightning impulse withstand voltage 75kV.

Protection level: The protection level of the box is usually IP30 or IP20.

Shell material: generally made of galvanized steel or aluminum alloy, with good anti-corrosion performance.

Service life: The service life of the transformer can reach 30 years.

Cooling method: Dry-type transformers usually use natural air cooling (AN) or forced air cooling (AF); oil-immersed transformers may use oil circulation cooling and other methods.

Noise level: The noise level of oil-immersed transformers is usually less than 55dB, and the noise level of dry-type transformers is usually less than 65dB.
