Prefabricated substations are primarily categorized into several types: European, American, underground, and combined. Each type has its own unique characteristics and application scenarios.
Features: This type of substation typically features a modular design for ease of manufacture and installation. They are pre-customized at the factory and come in a variety of styles to meet diverse customer needs.
Applications: Widely used in 10kV to 20kV power supply and distribution systems, they typically include high-voltage switchgear, power transformers, and low-voltage switchgear.
Features: Compared to European substations, American-style substations are smaller and typically combine transformers, high-voltage load switches, and fuses. They are also known as combined box-type substations.
Applications: Relatively rare in my country, they are primarily used for specific power distribution needs.
Features: This type of substation is buried underground, effectively conserving ground space and minimizing environmental impact.
Applications: Suitable for urban public substations, residential communities, and other locations, especially where space is limited.
Features: This substation combines high-voltage switchgear, transformers, and low-voltage distribution equipment into an integrated system for easy installation and maintenance.
Applications: Suitable for mines, factories, oil and gas fields, wind power plants, and other fields, replacing traditional civil power distribution rooms.
Features: As a new type of packaged substation, it is compact and occupies a small footprint, making it easy to install and suitable for urban environments.
Applications: It is increasingly being adopted by more projects, especially in applications with limited space.
Prefabricated substations, due to their flexibility and efficiency, have become an indispensable part of modern power distribution systems, suitable for a variety of applications and needs.
