Product Overview

The compact and intelligent prefabricated substation is more flexible than conventional substations.
It is widely used in urban power grid transformation, residential communities, industrial parks, commercial centers, airports, stations, ports, and other electrical power distribution applications.

The prefabricated substation (also called compact substation) consists of high-voltage switchgear, transformer, and low-voltage distribution equipment. The enclosure is generally divided into three compartments: high-voltage chamber, transformer chamber, and low-voltage chamber, arranged in a “目” or “品” shaped structure. The transformer serves as the main body, while the high-voltage load switch and fuse are installed inside the transformer tank, forming an integrated compact structure.

Functions and Features

The compact and intelligent European-style prefabricated substation combines the advantages of high-voltage load switches, high-voltage current-limiting fuses, and low-voltage circuit breakers. It provides reliable electrical and mechanical protection against overload and short-circuit faults.

The enclosure adopts advanced anti-corrosion treatment technology, offering excellent corrosion resistance and durability. The structure is flexible, convenient for transportation and installation, occupies less space, and operates safely and reliably.

The compact European-style substation uses high-performance insulating materials and advanced electrical design, making the overall structure compact and aesthetically pleasing while meeting modern power distribution requirements. It also features low investment cost and high economic efficiency.

Low Voltage Side

The low-voltage side main switch uses a universal or molded-case circuit breaker with selective protection.
The outgoing switch adopts a new type plastic-case switch featuring compact size and flexible operation, with up to 30 outgoing circuits available.

It can be equipped with reactive power compensation devices, supporting both contactor and non-contact automatic reactive power compensation solutions.

Transformer

The intelligent integrated substation can be equipped with dry-type transformers, oil-immersed transformers, fully enclosed S9, S10, and S11 series transformers, as well as amorphous alloy transformers and NOMEX insulated dry-type transformers.

A base frame with rollers is installed beneath the transformer for convenient movement and installation.
