Structural features
Indoor single-phase epoxy resin cast voltage transformer. The core is made of high-quality cold-rolled silicon steel sheets. The transformer insulation is composed of epoxy resin, which is small in size and light in weight, and only occupies a limited space for installation. All windings are completely cast in epoxy resin, with excellent insulation performance, impact resistance and mechanical pressure, and can protect the windings from moisture. The primary winding lead-out terminals are A, B; the secondary winding lead-out terminals are marked with a, b, which are clearly cast on the cast body. The primary winding lead-out wire is led out by a silicone rubber insulated soft wire, with high insulation strength and convenient wiring.
Function
The function of the voltage transformer is to convert the high voltage into a standard secondary voltage of 100V or lower in proportion for use in protection, measurement, and instrumentation devices. At the same time, the use of voltage transformers can isolate high voltage from electrical workers. Although voltage transformers are also devices that work according to the principle of electromagnetic induction, their electromagnetic structure relationship is exactly the opposite of that of current transformers. The secondary circuit of the voltage transformer is a high-impedance circuit, and the magnitude of the secondary current is determined by the impedance of the circuit. When the secondary load impedance decreases, the secondary current increases, causing the primary current to automatically increase by one component to meet the electromagnetic balance relationship between the primary and secondary sides. It can be said that the voltage transformer is a special transformer with a limited structure and form of use. Simply put, it is a “detection element”.
